CHICKS, CHICKS, AND MORE CHICKS

Chick season is normally in the spring from March to the end of May for us. This meaning we keep chicks in store for you to stop by and buy as few or as many as you would like. We try to keep a variety of chicks in store, mostly carrying layer chicks that are sexed as pullets. We're also able to get in Cornish cross, turkey poults, guinea keets, ducklings, goslings, quail, and even pheasants and chukars - not all of these are offered sexed. Most people like to come in store and buy a variety of chicks from what we have available that day. If you prefer, we can also do a special order for you, the only thing is the minimum order has to be met per the supplier, such as the minimum for chicks is 15, bantams are 20, ducks are 15, quail are 50, etc. We normally order chicks from Cackle Hatchery or Hoover Hatchery, depending on availability, price, and variety.

On occasion, we will incubate in store, if so, these chicks will not be sexed. Normally, what we incubate in store is what is available from our employees' farms or that customers have donated to us. These usually include chicks, ducks, quail, turkey, guinea and even peacocks occasionally.
